Merton's Civic Pride Fund and workshop 305
We were so please to hear that we had been awarded grant funding from Merton's Civic Pride Fund. We'd applied for support to repair a leaking roof and improve ventilation - big things that go towards the long term sustainability of the building, ensuring it's fit for purpose and a comfortable environment for everyone that uses it.
Roofs aren't generally exciting to talk about but we had an exciting day with Dave and Daniel from Rooftech when they came with a cherry picker for the pre-works inspection.
We now have a lovely new roof with added insulation which will help keep our energy use down in the colder months - very important for us all and Workshop 305 in helping us lower our carbon footprint.
