Creative arts are an amazingly rich resource for teambuilding, creative development and training.
We offer a range of enjoyable, constructive and effective activities in the pottery that can provide a rewarding and motivating time for your team away from the stresses of the workplace. Each session is tailored to your specific brief from fun sessions to a multi-session programme that can tackle workplace issues such as communication.
Option 1 - Spend a few hours getting together with an informal workshop where you can have a go at throwing a pot on the wheel, hand-building a sculpture or a pot or making a decorative tile. You can select specific activities or try all three depending upon the timeframe - all work will be fired, glazed and ready for collection in three to four weeks time.
A typical session starts with an ice breaker or energiser to get everyone unwound and thinking creatively, followed by one or more of the activities. Generally sessions last for three hours but they can be longer if required.
Option 2 - Alternatively we could work with you to share in the making of a specific piece your company might chose to make: your company logo for instance, or a mirror, or a piece created for a specific charity that you support. You could work closely with our Specialist workshop students to create this and we'd discuss the design options with you before the session/event - please note that additional pricing would be required for any extra work involved with this option. Working with Workshop 305 offers many creative ways for your company to get involved and fulfill its social responsibility.
Early evening sessions can be booked to run between 3.30pm - 8.30pm. Weekends are also available.
Refreshments are provided but we can also take care of catering to suit all pockets from a simple sandwich to a special deli option (additional costs)
