ABOUT OUR textiles WORKSHOPS
Some people are particularly at home with textiles - the use of wool and fabric offers a clean and relatively dry tactile experience for exploring design using both hand and machine stitching techniques, embroidery, weaving and knitting. Wet techniques can include fabric painting, fabric dyeing, felt-making and screen-printing.Knitting has also been described as a form of birythmic psycho-social physical intervention - we wouldn't disagree!
